 I want to welcome you to JDRF Hawaii’s new web site and invite you to join with us to achieve our goal of improving the lives of every person affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) by accelerating progress on the most promising opportunities for curing, better treating and preventing T1D. 

 For over 43 years, I’ve lived with T1D and have always been determined that the disease would never get in the way of my living.  And now through my involvement with JDRF Hawaii, I am working with passionate, dedicated volunteers to improve the lives of everyone in Hawaii affected by T1D, and to find a cure for this disease for good, forever.
